Day To Day Itinerary
Day 1 - Managua Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Lodging.
Day 2 - Managua - City Tour
This tour will introduces you into the culture and the history of Nicaragua visiting the museums, parks and historical sites of the Capital of the Republic since 1852. Located next to Lake Xolotlan or Managua, it is the main entrance for visitors to the country. We will begin by a visit to Acahualinca Footprints Museum, showing us foot springs from humans and animals escaping from a volcano eruption between 6.000 to 10.000 years ago. We will then visit historical sites like: The Old Cathedral destroyed by the earthquake of 1972, the Presidential House, the waterfront, the Central Market where you can observe or buy the finest Nicaraguan Handcrafts, the National Palace of Culture, the Central Park, Tiscapa Hill Historical Park, Park of Peace, National Theatre Ruben Dario and the new Metropolitan Cathedral which was the last built in the past century and that makes it today the most modern cathedral of our time. Return to the hotel. Lodging.
Day 3 - Managua - Bluefields - City Tour
In the morning we depart to the city of Bluefields. In the afternoon a local
tour will introduce us to the history of this particular City. Isolated by
the Carribean Sea on one side and a mountain range on the other, Bluefields
was founded in about 1602 by the Portuguese and came under British influence
within thirty years. The British founded a colony here in 1730, and
Bluefields remained under British protection until late in the 19th century.
The town is therefore multi-ethnic and English-speaking.
Day 4 -Bluefields - Corn Island
In the morning departure in airplane towards Corn Island which is about 90 km
of the Bluefields coast. Reception at the airport in Corn Island and transfer
to the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Lodging.
Day 5 - Corn Island Breakfast.Free day to enjoy the relaxing withe sandy beaches. Lodging.
Day 6 - Corn Island
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the relaxing withe sandy beaches. Lodging.
Day 7 - Corn Island - ManaguaBreakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Managua. Reception at the
Airport in Managua and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.
